1. Be a stay at home mom:
Exactly 4 weeks ago today I welcomed my beautiful daughter into this world! I can't even begin to explain how much my life has changed in these 4 short weeks. When I found out I was pregnant I thought about everything I would need to do to be a stay at home mom but after looking at our finances I realized that just couldn't happen right now. I hope that I am able to start making more money, on TPT, so that I can one day work part time and be a stay at home mom.
2. Supplement my income by selling on TPT:
This goes along with my other 3 dreams for TPT. I would like to make enough off of my TPT store that I am able to make up for not having a full time teaching position, be a stay at home mom (for the most part), and host PDs and Workshops eventually.
3. Host Professional Development classes for other educators:
I've always loved helping other, what teacher doesn't? I have always dreamed of becoming a coach or leading/hosting professional development classes for educators and districts. I would like to be able to start my own PDs and make my own schedule.
4. Host workshops, for low-income families, to learn more about helping their students at home:
I've only ever worked in areas and schools that are 99%+ below the poverty level. I've talked to 100's of parents/guardians who struggle with helping their students complete school assignments. They always want to know the same thing, "what can I do to help my child?". This is a question that I've answered in many different ways and I would love to help more parents by answering this question for them too.
Well, there you go. I hope you enjoyed reading about 4 of my dreams for TPT. If you would like to take part in the challenge, and blog about your dreams, head over to one of the blogs below to learn more and link up!
A special thanks to these wonderful ladies for hosting each of the weekly challenges!
Hello fellow Georgian! Your daughter is precious. I hope you are able to be a stay at home mom in the near future. I also love presenting PD sessions. It is so fulfilling.
